Allison Hickey is the Executive Vice President of the Pacific West Region for the American Lung Association.   Allison joined the ALA in December of 2015 where she served as President and CEO of American Lung Association Mountain Pacific Charter. In these roles, Allison was been instrumental in growing the region’s impact on lung health through sound strategic direction, volunteer engagement and implementing innovative approaches to fundraising. Allison Hickey has more than 20 years' experience in the nonprofit and business sectors.  Before joining the Lung Association, Hickey was with the American Diabetes Association for nine years in a range of progressively more responsible roles in Arkansas and California. A 44 year resident of California, she attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and the University of Redlands where she majored in Business Administration.  Hickey has served as a University of California, Irvine- Public Health 101 and 202 guest lecturer and was a member of the Department of Public Health Advisory Board of Directors.  She also serves on the board of directors for the Miss America Foundation. Allison has several ties to lung disease with her uncle passing away from Alpha-1, her daughter having asthma and experiencing the loss of her father-in-law to lung cancer.  She currently resides in Seattle, WA with her husband, John.  She has 2 adult children, Christian who resides in Los Angeles and Brianna who lives with her husband in Dallas.
